The company designs, manufactures, markets and sells high-quality living products for the home. The style is simple, pure and Scandinavian and the materials thoroughly finished to match the inherent quality.

The design work is in the hands of Mette Ditmer while the products are manufactured by European and Asian suppliers. All products manufactured in the Far East are subject to certified quality control.

Sales in Denmark and the rest of Scandinavia are handled by Mette Ditmer Denmark A/S with most other countries being served by a steadily increasing number of distributors. This sales strategy has been chosen in the conviction that frequent contact with customers is important and that customers are best served locally by people with a similar cultural background. Production, distribution and sales in the USA and Canada are handled via a licensing agreement with the Canadian company Famous Home Fashions.

In recent years Mette Ditmer Group has been very successful with merchandising in the local market. Since September 2007 the company has been expanding with shop-in-shop solutions in Denmark, Norway and Sweden, and in the near future these can also be found outside Scandinavia.

In bath accessories, Mette Ditmer is continually experimenting with new materials and finishes while sticking with tried and tested choices for the basic components in the range. Examples of the latter are the wc brushes and soap dispenser pumps finished in stainless steel.

Mette Ditmer's textiles are manufactured in the finest quality cotton and presented in attractive high-quality packaging. The bedding comes in a Supersoft finish, making it soft right from the start. Thanks to Easy Care, it is easy to iron while a special treatment makes it nonpilling. Naturally all Mette Ditmer linen has been produced according to eco-tex standards.
